Essex Summer School - practical quantitative skills short course for UG students

As part of the Essex Summer School this year Joe Twyman, Head of Political and Social Research (EMEA) at YouGov  https://yougov.co.uk/people/joet/ is delivering a 2-week course (11th – 22nd July 16) to equip undergraduate students with the practical quantitative skills they will need in the future.

This course is specifically designed to allow students to develop the essential skills needed to conduct and improve their own quantitative research, to critically evaluate external quantitative data and to commission effective quantitative research in the future.  Joe will be drawing on real life survey data from the leading research agency YouGov.

The course comes highly recommended and Joe Twyman is always a very popular speaker. The closing date listed on the website is 1st June, however the application process will remain open until 30th June (spaces permitting).
