  • are currently doing a year in industry placement or study abroad year after completing their Level 2 studies
  • will complete level 2 modules in summer 2020 and who will be going onto a year in industry placement or study year abroad in the next 2020/21 academic year.

Students meeting the level criteria above, who are studying on programmes in the following Faculties:

  • Arts, Humanities & Cultures
  • Business School
  • Environment
  • Education, Social Sciences and Law

Each placement is 5-weeks duration, starting with a compulsory Research Methods training course in mid-June, followed by a 4 week placement on a research project.

The expectation is that the placements will start immediately after the training course, but in all cases, the 4 week placements must be completed before the end of July.

To apply you must be available to attend the full week training course in June (dates to be confirmed for 2020).
